- Kamatchi Temple
Goddess Kamakshi idol is sculptured in the Padmasana posture, which signifies penance for peace and prosperity. Unlike other temples, the Sri Chakra is placed in front of the Shakthi. This 6th century Pallava temple was rebuilt by the Chola Kings, during 14th century
It was built by Narasimhavarman II and dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvathi and Lord Skanda. Other than the sculpture decorated walls and 58 small shrines around the primary shrine, we can find the traces of murals as well.
- Ekambareshwarar temple
This Shiva temple has Prithvilingam as primary deity and the temple includes intricate 1000 pillar hall, enormous outer stonewall, 5 spacious inner corridors. The inner walls include 1008 Shivalingams. The temple also has 3,500 years mango tree, which yields 4 different types of mangoes.
